The closeness to children and young people
Working at a boarding school gives you the privilege of being in close contact with the pupils. At Schloss Neubeuern in particular, with its international student body of around 200 children and young people, you get good access to the issues, concerns and ideas that each generation has in very different ways. Understanding the young people and having the opportunity to help shape them in a value-orientated way – that is a really enriching feeling here.

Neubeuern is literally the gateway to the south. In the middle of the mountains of the Bavarian Alpine foothills, our castle terrace offers you an unrivalled view of the wide Inn Valley – all the way to the Großvenediger. Situated on a small hill, the idyllic setting of Schloss Neubeuern gives you the sublime feeling of having conquered the most beautiful workplace in the world. No matter how stressful a day may be – a glance out of the staff room window will make all your worries fade away.

Schloss Neubeuern organises all kinds of sporting tournaments and activities. Anyone can take part here. In your free time, you can use almost the entire infrastructure of Schloss Neubeuern for your hobbies, from the sports hall and tennis court to the fitness room.

From laptops for teachers to tools and machines for craftspeople – we provide everyone with the tools they need for their work, for joint communication and our daily interaction. This includes office supplies as well as specialised literature and PC training.

Sharing the “experiences of the day” at dinner and the barbecue evenings on our south-facing terrace is as sociable as it is interesting – and fun. Joy and laughter are traditionally very important in our Neubeuern community. Many events, such as the Christmas party, the end-of-year dance party and the summer party, bring our staff together with the pupils, parents and former pupils. And sometimes tears even flow from the sheer emotion of saying goodbye to someone at the classic “Leberkäs-Essen” at the end of the school year.

Your own celebration in the castle.
Turn Schloss Neubeuern into your personal event castle. For birthday or wedding celebrations, for example. We open the doors to our castle chapel, our historic halls and the modern EDEN student café to you and your loved ones. You can experience the most beautiful moments that will stay in your memory forever in front of the marvellous castle backdrop.

That’s why we offer you many health care options: from free vaccinations and your own company doctor to one-to-one psychological coaching. And of course you can take advantage of our entire sports and leisure programme and take part in fitness courses run by colleagues or experts.

Depending on which team you work in, you will be well catered for in between meals as well as for lunch. In the morning, our craftsmen prepare a hearty snack in their historic workshop. And of course there is coffee at the break stand and in the staff room, as well as delicious sandwiches and fresh fruit. For your work meetings and conferences, you can request snacks and cakes from our service ladies.
Delicious culinary delights
We attach great importance to our cuisine. Always freshly cooked and delicious. Due to the diversity of our students’ eating habits, the choice at lunch is very varied – there is something for everyone.
Our staff are cordially invited to join our boarding school community for lunch. Or, for a small fee, you can simply take your 3-course meal to the staff room.
