Ring in the new school year

The first week of school and boarding school at Schloss Neubeuern is now over and for many students, according to their own feedback, it feels like they have been here for a very long time.
On Sunday, 8 September 2024, the new students arrived and we welcomed them with their parents at a joint kick-off event in the ballroom. Several “old students” and our mentors were already waiting at the entrance to present the new arrivals with their welcome gifts and to welcome them. The event in the ballroom began with an atmospheric piano piece by our Chinese student Jiadong, during which the mentor team, our SMV and buddies were introduced and important information about the start was shared. This was followed by the “bell ritual” at the Jüngling on the south terrace, where every single new pupil literally rang in the start at Schloss Neubeuern with a promise of admission based on our values. On Tuesday, 10 September, the school officially started with the first school assembly, which was introduced by two teachers and during which the new teachers were introduced.

Our new pupils have already integrated very well in the first few days and feel comfortable and well received. We have already received positive feedback from pupils, parents and staff that the “newcomers” are bringing a really positive and fresh breeze into the school. This was particularly noticeable at the traditional karaoke show and party on Saturday evening, as all the boarding school groups presented their songs full of ambition and good humour. The dance floor was also never empty at the subsequent dance party with our former student “DJ Ali” and everyone celebrated the start of the school year together – the castle family is back at Schloss Neubeuern!!!!
